The Bad Ass Challenge
Supporting The American Veterans Service Dog Academy In Loving Memory of Louis P. Wellenbach
The Bad Ass Challenge was established in 2013 as a way to honor my grandfather, Louis P. Wellenbach, who passed away and served in the Naval reserves. I wanted to find a way to create an event that supported veterans in his name and aligned with our gym culture. In 2018, we found The American Veterans' Service Dog Academy and it further complimented our culture; Our love of dogs. So we have taken our passion for coaching, veterans and dogs and combined them into this event. 100% of the money raised goes to the charity, which allows us to sponsor and pair one veteran with one service dog for their training and development process. Our recipients are pictured below paired with their service dog.
